MedExAus together with Channel 7's Today Tonight and HBF provided Perth viewers the opportunity to participate in an exercise program, 'Get Moving with Mabury', where a group of volunteers aged 45 years and over would take part in a 12 week exercise program twice a week. The program aimed at improving their current health and lifestyle with the expertise from exercise specialists, Accredited Exercise Physiologists. Throughout the program participants had the support of the Exercise Physiologists, as well as HBF's very own family doctor Duncan Jefferson, who will provided support and encouragement along the way, as well as provide individual health and fitness advice. The volunteers are led by popular 6PR presenter Graham Mabury, who is keen to improve his health and fitness. Graham, who has presented 6PR's 'Nightline' for the past 26 years, leads an extremely busy life. He recently celebrated his 60th birthday and has become very conscious of the need for an appropriate health and fitness program, to ensure he is able to maintain a healthy lifestyle over the years to come - and to keep up with his baby grandson! Get Moving with Mabury was developed to encourage and promote appropriate exercise programs for people aged 45 and over - whatever their level of fitness.
